Grey, Charles

Biography: Born in Greenock, Scotland, Charles Grey moved to Dublin to establish himself as a painter. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 1838, becoming a Member in 1845. His sons, Edwin Landseer, Alfred, James and Charles Malcolm became notable artists and engravers.
